Welcome to this blog, Vaishnava Nectar, which has been created to make accessible to English-speaking vaisnavas a number of devotional texts would not normally find elsewhere online or in print.
The original stimulus for the creation of this blog is the work of Aniruddha Das of Guatemala, who has translated into English several texts are in English only, and therefore beyond the reach of many English-speaking vaisnavas .
What better time to start this blog this September 1, 2010, the day we celebrate Janmastami or advent of Sri Krishna!
Nectar's first play Vaisnava is "Mathura Meets Vrindavan, Sri Gour Govinda Maharaja, who will know more in future installments of this blog. The translation of the whole work is of Aniruddha Prabhu.
